RELIEF AND REHABILITATION PROGRAM FOR SIDR VICTIMS

ASSB distributed relief materials to 600 families and Taka 5000 to 20 families for house reconstruction in two (Moralganj & Khaulia) Unions of Moralganj Upozilla (Subdistrict) under Bagerhat District on 17-12-07.
The team of ASSB traveled about 500 km distance from Dinajpur by Rail, Road, river transport to reach the place of the distribution point.

EMERGENCY FLOOD RELIEF

Auguest, 2007. Aloha Social Services Bangladesh (ASSB), Ali Manzil, Balubari, Dinajpur took part in emergency relief program with the financial assistance from Shanti Germany and local donation from ASSB & owner of Rahim Engineering Works Ltd. Of Dhaka including their friends for Ulipur Thana, Bhog Dangga and Jatrapur union under the Kurigram Sadar District. For immediate address to the crisis, Aloha social services Bangladesh (ASSB) distributed items were like Rice, Potato and Medicine  to the  flood affected 1520 families. The relief materials are 10 kg Rice, 5 kg Potato and some essential medicine to each to face the crisis moment.

MAFTA PRE-SCHOOL

ASSB has started the journey of  MAFTA PRE-SCHOOL on the 1^st of January 1999 with 20 poor children. At present 168 pupils from baby section to 3^rd grade are given education both in Naogaon and Dinajpur district. At the beginning the school was up till 2^nd grade but with parents generous request it was extended to 3^rd grade in the year 2008.  In spite of the parents humble request we are unable to extend the school curriculum as the school is funded by us and a few kind hearted people.  Pupils of the school are from the needy family of slum areas. Education at the school is not only limited to the text books, social values and social responsibilities are encouraged.
